19-year-old boy arrested for abducting and raping girl student at empty house

WAYANAD: A 19-year-old boy has been arrested for sexually abusing a girl student in Wayanad. The accused has been identified as M M Rasily of Appappara, Thirunelli. He was arrested by a team of policemen led by Thirunelli inspector P L Shaiju.

The arrest was recorded following a complaint that the boy had abducted a 16-year-old girl student, took her to an empty house and raped her. He has been charged with various sections, including POCSO charges and was remanded by the Mananthavady First Class Judicial Magistrate Court.
