Solar harassment complaint: CBI questions KC Venugopal

NEW DELHI: The CBI has questioned Congress leader KC Venugopal in the solar case harassment complaint. The complainant had alleged that Venugopal had sexually harassed her at the official residence of the then minister AP Anilkumar. The CBI had initially planned to question Venugopal in Thiruvananthapuram. The officials later decided to conduct the questioning in Delhi at the request of Venugopal.

According to the woman's complaint, the incident related to the case took place in May 2012. The police investigated the case and handed it over to the crime branch. Later, the government handed over the investigation to the CBI.
