Kodiyeri's first phase of check-up completed, examined whether has infection, health improving

CHENNAI: CPM former state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai for better treatment, has completed the first phase of primary check-up. Tests were conducted to know whether he has any infection.

His wife Vinodini and son Bineesh Kodiyeri are with him in the hospital. Binoy said the health condition of his father is improving and the doctors have informed that his condition is better than before.

Kodiyeri is speaking directly to those who call on him. Ministers G R Anil and P Prasad had visited him in the hospital. The two returned after talking to him for nearly 15 minutes.
