Class two boy dies as train hits him in Thrissur; brother escapes unhurt

THRISSUR: An eight-year-old boy of second standard died after hit by a Memu train. He has been identified as Muhammed Rizwan, son of Faisal of Thrissur Mullurkara Vandiparambil.

The accident happened when he was crossing the railway track while returning home from the madrassa. His brother escaped unhurt. His body has been shifted to Thrissur Medical College for post mortem. The boy was hit by Ernakulam-Palakkad Memu. The train went forward a bit with the boy.
