THRISSUR: The labourers painted the DCC office in Thrissur with shades of BJP flag. The leadership had demanded the labourers to paint the building with the tricolour. However, they mistakenly painted with the saffron colour. The leaders directed to change the paint following criticisms.

The Congress leaders in Thrissur are making big preparations to receive Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. As part of it, they decided to do some maintenance work in the DCC office. The painting was completed on Tuesday. With this, the DCC office, which was in white colour, was painted with saffron and green. When it sparked a controversy, the leaders realized the mistake and directed the painters to change the paint. The workers repainted the office giving a green coating over the saffron shade. The Congress leaders said that it was a mistake from the side of the workers.
