KOZHIKODE: BJP state president K Surendran said Rehab India Foundation, an affiliated organization of the Popular Front of India (PFI) banned by the central government, has links with the Indian National League (INL). He also demanded that Minister Ahamed Devarkovil, who has links with the banned organisation should be sacked from the cabinet.

Ahamed Devarkovil and INL leader Prof Muhammed Sulaiman were the heads of Rehab India Foundation. Surendran also asked how can a person who was in the leadership post of an organization banned in the country continue as a minister. INL should be excluded from the Left Front and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan should give an answer in this regard.

Meantime, the INL rejected BJP's allegation. INL leader Kassim Irikkur responded that INL has no connection with Rehab Foundation and does not understand why K Surendran levelled such an allegation.
