PALAKKAD: A seventh standard student was found in a weak condition in the stairs of her school. Her hands were found tied using a shawl. The incident happened at Alanallur High School.

Her parents informed her teachers as she did not return home even after 5.30 pm. A search was conducted by the teachers and the local residents in and around the school. She was finally found at 7 pm. She was immediately brought down and opened her eyes after sprinkling water on her face.

The investigation conducted by the local police and Mannarkkad DySP reached a critical turning point in the incident. She first said two people took her and then tied her hands. When asked to explain things, she said she did it herself.

She had not eaten her lunch. There was an argument between her and her family over the use of mobile phone. The police said that her statement said that she tied her own hands and hid herself on the third floor. The police said presently there is no other mystery in the incident.
