'Mayor go back': Protest erupts at council meeting in T'puram corporation, opposition councillors raise slogans, banners

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Protest erupted at the council meeting in Thiruvananthapuram Corporation in connection with the letter row. UDF and BJP councillors took center stage demanding that Mayor Arya Rajendran should not preside over the meeting. The protest was carried out by shouting slogans and raising banners.

The UDF and BJP councillors protested by raising the slogan 'mayor go back'. Left councillors are also present holding a banner saying 'we are with the mayor' declaring their support for the mayor.
