PATHANAMTHITTA: Travancore Devaswom board president A Ananthagopan said that the aravana distribution in Sabarimala has been stopped following the Kerala High court order. The High court ordered to stop the distribution of aravana after pesticides were found in the cardamom used. The Devaswom board president informed that they are following the High court order and further action would be taken after other tests.
He informed that cardamom-less aravana will be distributed from tomorrow onwards. Ananthagopan stated that efforts will be made to supply organic cardamom and that the board can make aravana without using cardamom. He added that this will be decided after discussing with Spices board. The aravana distribution at Sabarimala has been halted after the president's announcement.
