NEW DELHI: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the complete budget for the year 2023-24 in the Parliament. The budget presentation started at 11 am. This time too, it is a paper-less budget presentation. The minister is reading the budget in her tab. This is the last complete budget presentation of the second Modi government.
‘This is the first ‘Amrit Kaal’ budget. The results of growth will reach all sectors. The growth rate will reach seven percent. The economy is strong. This is a proud achievement despite the global crisis. The country's economy is on the right track. This budget will be the blueprint for the next 100 years of development. This time the budget is categorised into seven parts. This will lead the country like Saptarishi during Amrit Kaal,' the finance minister said.
