MUMBAI: Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana went through a difficult time after her wedding with music director Palash Muchhal was called off a day before the big event. After five years of dating, the couple was scheduled to get married on November 23. And now, the talk in town is that the couple have patched up and may soon remarry.

Initially, the wedding was postponed indefinitely, citing that Smriti's father, Srinivas Mandhana, suffered a sudden heart attack. Smriti confirmed on social media that the wedding was called off. However, reports and social media posts emerged that Palash had cheated on Smriti and was in another relationship.

A new video of Smriti’s father with Palash’s sister and her husband surfaced on social media, igniting a new debate on the topic. Many are commenting that the two families have talked and reached an agreement, and that Smriti and Palash's wedding will happen soon.
