KOCHI: "There should be an investigation if there are allegations against fellow actors. There should be exemplary punishment at the end of the investigation," said actor Prithviraj. He was responding to mediapersons' questions in Kochi. Prithviraj clarified that if the accused are not found guilty after the investigation, those responsible should be punished. Prithviraj added that AMMA has failed.

"I am not shocked by the Hema committee report. I am one among those who gave a statement when that committee was formed. The commission report should be investigated very seriously."

"Our legal system does not allow the release of the names of the victims. It is up to the government to decide whether or not to release the names of the accused. My responsibility does not end by saying that 'it does not concern me'. I do not claim that there is no power group," Prithviraj said.

Prithviraj also responded that there should be female representation at Amma's head. "Members of WCC and AMMA should work together. Hope that happens in future. I was banned from films before Parvathy Thiruvothu. It was boycott, not ban. If one's career is being denied in an organized manner, one should oppose it," said Prithviraj.
