Model's death: Husband Sajad was involved in drug business under guise of food delivery, say police

KOZHIKODE: Police have made a crucial finding in connection with the death of actress and model Shahna. The probe team has found that Shana's husband Sajad was involved in drug business. Sajad will be soon produced in court.

Police have brought Sajad to the flat where he and Shahna were living to collect evidence. During the search, the probe team found cannabis, MDMA and LSD stamps in the flat. According to police, Sajad was a drug addict who used to run a drug business under the guise of food delivery.

Shahana's body was subjected to a chemical analysis to detect the presence of drugs in her body. The police said that they can give more information only after the result of the chemical analysis comes out. Sajad was arrested yesterday on charges of abetment to suicide and torturing a woman.

Shahna's mother had alleged that her daughter was killed by Sajad. She said that Shahna would not commit suicide and that Sajad and his relatives used to torture her from the day after marriage.
