Sandeep murder case: Accused had political animosity towards Sandeep, says remand report

THIRUVALLA: The remand report in connection with the murder of CPM local leader PB Sandeep Kumar has surfaced. As per the remand report, there was political animosity behind the murder. Jishnu, the first accused in the case, had personal animosity as well as political animosity towards Sandeep. It was Jishnu who stabbed Sandeep. The report stated that the accused carried out the attack with the intention of killing Sandeep.

Police will file an application in court today seeking custody of the accused. The FIR stated that all the accused in the case are BJP activists. The accused in the case are Jishnu Raghu, Nandu, Pramod, Mohammad Faisal and Abhi.

Sandeep was stabbed to death by a gang at Mepral on December 2. Sandeep sustained multiple stab wounds to the neck and chest. The group on a bike took Sandeep to a field and stabbed him with deadly weapons.
