He further remarked that the citizens who reached polling booths despite adverse weather conditions demonstrated Kerala's profound democratic values and commitment to the state. Pinarayi Vijayan concluded by stating that this high level of public participation is truly commendable.
Voting across the state has been completed peacefully. I express my heartfelt gratitude and greetings to all the voters who exercised their precious right to vote and participated in this democratic process.
Although the campaign period was quite short this time, the enthusiasm of the political workers who worked tirelessly despite the intense summer heat is worth mentioning. The citizens who turned out at polling booths despite adverse weather conditions offered a glimpse of Kerala’s deep-rooted democratic sense and high commitment to the state. This large turnout is extremely commendable.
It is a significant achievement that we were able to complete the polling in a completely peaceful manner, without any untoward incidents anywhere in the state. Special appreciation goes to everyone who worked day and night to successfully execute this massive undertaking, including election officials, the police and central forces who provided security, health workers, volunteers, and others.
Once again, my heartfelt congratulations to Kerala's democratic spirit and its people for their participation.
