AA Rahim MP said that announcing the verdict in the Vismaya case quickly was the success of Pinarayi government. His response was via a Facebook post.

He said that the state government had taken exemplary action by imposing maximum punishment on the accused and that the people should be reminded repeatedly that dowry is a worst system.
