Four-member gang attacks girl student in Thiruvananthapuram; accused arrested

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a shocking incident, a Plus One student was attacked by a four-member gang in Thiruvananthapuram. The incident took place in Chenkottukonam in Thiruvananthapuram. The incident happened today when the girl was going to the bus stop with her friends after class. The attackers, who came in two bikes, grabbed the girl and beat her up. The girl's ear was injured in the attack.

According to the police, the gang attacked the girl mistaking her for a boy. The accused realised that it was a girl only after attacking her. Following this, they fled the spot. The police later took all four accused into custody after conducting an investigation based on the number of motorbikes. The injured girl has been admitted to the Medical College Hospital.
