Film actor Kulappully Leela's mother passes away at 96

PARAVUR: Valiyaparambil Rukmini Amma (96), of Sree Leela Nivas in Cheriyappilly and mother of film star Kulapully Leela, has passed away. With the death of her mother, Leela has become alone in her life. Her husband Chandran died ten years ago. One of her sons died in an accident at the age of 13. Another died of illness at the age of 1. After that, only Leela and her mother were there at the house in Kulapully in Palakkad. She moved to Cheriyapilly 12 years ago.

Rukmini Amma was bedridden for more than two years. The cremation will be held on Wednesday around 12 pm at the Thonnyakavu crematorium. Her husband is late Raman Nair. Son: Vasudevan. Daughter-in-law: Girija
