THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The sweltering heat across the state will soon transform to its worst shape warns state disaster management. Apart from the capital, Kannur, and Kozhikode are cautioned and the people here are requested not to venture out during peak hours to avoid sunstroke.
The health department has also warned about the high chances of dehydration and fainting following the massive surge in temperatures across the state. Those people with a craving for juices and cold drinks from street vendors are cautioned. These people should ensure about the ice and the water used. The notice also tells senile citizens and small children to stay at home during peak noon hours to avoid inviting any ailments.
