KANNUR: The Income Tax Department has again issued a notice to Videkam Resort in Morazha, Kannur, which is owned by the wife and son of LDF convener EP Jayarajan. The TDS action came after the documents provided today were found to be incomplete. All tax-related documents have been requested to be submitted by the 27th of this month. The documents were sought as a follow-up to the earlier raid. The TDS wing had asked the resort authorities to present the tax-related figures today. The TDS wing of the Income Tax Department raided Videkam Resort on the 2nd of this month. The investigation was related to the payment of taxes. The instruction was to submit the figures related to the documents taken away by the officials on that day. But all the documents have now been requested after the documents provided were found to be incomplete.

At the same time, the vigilance team had conducted a preliminary inspection at the resort yesterday, following a complaint filed by Youth Congress leader Jobin Jacob alleging corruption in the construction of the resort.
