Doctor sexually assaults 17-year-old girl in Varkala; POCSO filed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have registered a case against a doctor who tried assaulting a girl who came for consulting. P Suresh Kumar was the arrested doctor who misbehaved with the girl who arrived for consulting at his home in Puthenchantha.

Due to ear pain, the 17-year-old girl reached the doctor for treatment. However, what was in store shattered the minor as the doctor played his tricks with sexual doings and tried assaulting her. A case was registered under POCSO, while the doctor is still at large.

During the past few months, many cases of sexual attacks have been reported from Varkala alone. The authorities and the representatives of this region need to be alerted to give a quick fix to this issue.
