Pregnant woman jumps from auto, hits head on post, dies

KALLAMBALAM: A pregnant woman, who sustained serious head injuries after jumping from a moving auto, has died. She has been identified as Subina (22), daughter of Rajeev of Ottur Thoppuvila and Bhadra.

The incident happened at 3 pm last evening near Ottur Thoppuvila Junction. She was returning from the hospital with her husband. Police said that a verbal dispute broke out between Subina and her husband Akhil and in a fit of rage, she jumped from the auto. She hit her head on the electric post while jumping from the auto. The couple got married a year ago.
