KOTTARAKKARA: Advocate B A Aloor appeared for accused Sandeep in the murder case of Dr Vandana Das. Kottarakkara Magistrate Court sent Sandeep to the custody of the crime branch for five days till Saturday. Aloor argued in the court that since the scissors he used to stab Vandana were recovered from the spot of the incident, there is no need to send him in custody for collecting evidence.

However, the court was considering crime branch’s demand seeking his custody for more investigation. Aloor also alleged that Sandeep did not get medical assistance because he attacked the doctor. He sustained injuries on his left leg and has other health problems. So, he should not be released into custody, demanded Aloor.
