ADOOR: The AI camera introduction in the state to instill disciplined traffic rules was a topic of debate for a long. And now, in another case, the AI camera placed near MC road near Highschool junction was shattered to smithereens by a tipper lorry that lost control to barge into the cameras placed near a post.

The incident happened on Thursday night at 12 am near Mavellikara. The lorry was moving towards Adoor when the accident happened. The tipper lorry has been taken into custody by the police.

Meanwhile, the government looks steadfast to start the working of AI cameras from June 5 of next month. The additional transport commissioner has also been given charge to monitor the AI camera working in the state. A special panel should also give a detailed report about the efficacy of the AI camera to the court.
