THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Police have arrested a man who stabbed an old man in a dispute over non-payment of money. Prasanth (35), a native of Kochuvilakam, was arrested. Balakrishnan (64), a manager of a bicycle shop, was stabbed. Prasanth stabbed Balakrishnan with a knife after he refused to pay the money he demanded. Balakrishnan was stabbed in the back. Prashanth immediately fled the spot. The Thampanoor police later caught him near Power House Road.
The police said that Prashanth is an accused in the ganja case. A team consisting of Thampanoor SI Aravind and CPO Vishnu caught the accused. The accused was remanded.
