THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan took to Facebook to congratulate the health workers, ministerial team and experts who worked together to fight the Nipah outbreak. The Chief Minister said that we have been able to prepare an extensive defence system with the help of public health systems, local institutions and local associations in the early stages of Nipah outbreak.
The test results of four people, including a nine-year-old boy who was suffering from Nipah disease in Kozhikode, have been double negative. With this, all those who were diagnosed with the disease have been cured. The Chief Minister appreciated all the health workers, experts, the ministerial team including the health minister and the local associations who have worked behind this great campaign. "It is a matter of great pride that the whole of Kerala stood together to fight a disease like Nipah. This willingness to face crises together will give us strength.", CM Vijayan added.
