Technical glitch in generators; load shedding possibility during 6-11 pm on Friday

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSEB has warned about a possible electricity regulation in the state on Friday. Due to the technical glitch experienced in the generators at Idukki and Koodankulam power stations, the state will experience a sudden reduction in power availability on Friday. Minding this, KSEB has decided to put on strict regulations for Friday.

Through a Facebook post, KSEB beseeched consumers to minimize their electricity consumption on (06.10.2023) from 6:30 pm to 11 pm. If in case of any unavoidable situation, KSEB will be forced to restrict power supply in homes for a short span of time.
