HYDERABAD: Congress win in Telangana was more or less a given considering the earlier trend. However, not many have thought about iconic leader Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao(KCR) getting defeated on Telangana soil. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is contesting in two constituencies, is also on the verge of defeat in one seat.
At the same time, BJP is heading towards a landslide victory in the Kamareddy constituency. Kamareddy is a constituency contested by Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR). The latest reports indicate that BJP's dark horse K Venkata Ramana Reddy is on the verge of victory, even humbling Congress CM candidate Revanth Reddy.
Revanth Reddy came to the Congress helm in Telangana after Uttamkumar Reddy resigned as the party president due to the defeat of the last Lok Sabha elections. Out of 119 constituencies, the Congress, which is leading in 63 seats, has captured 14 seats. BRS has managed to win only seven seats so far. BRS is leading in 40 seats.
