Rajinikanth invited for inaugural function of Ram Temple in Ayodhya

CHENNAI: Actor Rajinikanth has been personally invited to attend the inaugural function of Ram Temple in Ayodhya. BJP leader Arjuna Murthy on behalf of Ayodhya Ran Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra invited the actor to attend the function to be held on January 22. The leader himself shared the pictures with the actor on social media.

‘Today was the happiest day of my life. Invited our beloved leader superstar Rajinikanth for the inauguration of Ram Temple. There were a few RSS leaders,' he wrote in the post. Among the pictures shared by Arjuna Murthy, there is a picture of Rajinikanth accepting the invitation of the inauguration.

The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Trust informed that the consecration of the main idol will be performed on January 22 at noon. Apart from Rajinikanth, Bollywood stars Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, directors Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rohit Shetty and producer Mahavir Jain have also been invited for the inaugural function of the temple.


South Indian stars like Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi, Dhanush, Rishabh Shetty and others were invited for the function earlier. Acharya Satyendradas, the chief priest of the temple, told the media that many people from the film industry have been invited for the ceremony. The temple trust informed that around 4000 monks have been invited to the ceremony. The information received is that the function related to the consecration will start from January 16. Laxmikant Dixit, a priest from Varanasi, performs the consecration ceremony.
