Wild buffalo attacks and kills plantation worker in Valparai

THRISSUR: A plantation worker was killed after attacked by a wild buffalo in Valparai. The dead is Arun, a native of Valparai. He was attacked while he was engaged in his work in the plantation at 8 am Friday morning. The wild buffalo stationed in the plantation attacked him from behind. He was immediately rushed to the government hospital in Valparai but his life could not be saved as he was severely injured and bleeding profusely.

A wild elephant had tried to attack an ambulance on the Anamala Road the other day. The incident happened Wednesday afternoon when the ambulance was carrying a patient from Malakkapara upper Sholayar to Chalakudy side. The elephant standing on the road rushed towards the ambulance. When the driver saw the elephant coming and sounded the siren, the elephant drove away.
