MUMBAI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi mocked Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He said that Rahul will run away from Wayanad as it is difficult to get popular support. Modi said Rahul ran away from Amethi in 2019 and will run from Wayanad also. The Prime Minister was addressing a rally in Nanded, Maharashtra.

Congress is fielding Rahul Gandhi from Wayanad for the second time. He contested from Wayanad and Amethi in 2019. He lost to Union Minister Smriti Irani in Amethi and then won from Wayanad. Modi asked the India Bloc parties who will be the common leader after the elections. The INDIA Front cannot tell the people of India who their leader will be. "They can claim anything but the reality is that the Congress leaders have accepted defeat even before the announcement of elections," the Prime Minister said.

"No one should be scared when I say that I have big plans and I am not taking decisions to scare or chase away anyone, but for the overall development of the country," the Prime Minister said.
