Youth kills father for opposing his same-sex relationship

LUCKNOW: In a shocking incident, a youth murdered his father for opposing his same-sex relationship. After committing the murder, the youth burnt the body after putting it inside a tin box. The incident took place in Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. The deceased has been identified as Mohanlal Sharma. The youth and his friends were later arrested by the police. The arrested persons are Mohanlal's son Ajit, and his friends Krishna and Deepak.

The incident came to light after the police found the half-burnt body in the box near a road in the Ayera village. On conducting an autopsy, it was found that the man had been murdered before being stuffed into the box. During the subsequent investigation, it was found that the body belonged to a man named Mohanlal Sharma. On questioning the family of the deceased, the police learned that Mohanlal used to regularly fight with his son Ajit over the latter's homosexual relationships. Following this, the police took Ajit into custody. During the interrogation, Ajit admitted to killing his father.

Ajit and his friends used to indulge in homosexual relationships at his house regularly. On May 1, Mohanlal slapped Krishna and Ajit, which led to the fatal retaliation on the night of May 2. The accused hid the body under a bed before placing it in a box and setting it on fire on the night of May 3, the police said.
