THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A gang of four lobbed bomb at a house in Thumba Nehru junction on Sunday, creating an atmosphere of terror. The gang came in two bikes and hurled country bombs injuring Akhil and Vivek, natives of Thumba Nehru Junction.

The frightening incident happened at 11:45 am on Sunday. Thumba police reached the spot and shifted both of the injured to hospital. The injured Akhil is a history sheeter and was only released recently after serving his term in a KAAPA case. Police doubt gang rivalry to be behind the impulsive bomb attack. An investigation is ongoing to find the culprits involved. The CCTV visuals of the incident have also come out.
