'Mohanlal wears uniform even when going to hospital', YouTuber Chekuthan booked for derogatory remarks

THIRUVALLA: A case has been filed against YouTuber Aju Alexi, 42, also known as 'Chekuthan,' for making derogatory remarks about the Indian Army and actor Mohanlal on social media. Aju Alexi operates a Facebook page under the name 'Chekuthan.'

The case stems from posts in which Aju insulted actor Mohanlal and the Indian Army, who were involved in relief efforts in Wayanad. In one of his posts, Aju stated, "Mohanlal is the person who wears his uniform even when he goes to the hospital. Only Mohanlal can do that in India. He made the uniform a big deal."

AMMA General Secretary Siddique filed a complaint, leading to the registration of an FIR, which accuses Aju of making abusive comments intended to incite hatred. According to SHO B K Sunil Krishnan, a search has been intensified for Aju, who is currently absconding. This is not the first time complaints have been lodged against his YouTube account.
