‘Pani’, the latest Malayalam movie marks actor Joju’s entry into the world of film direction. The movie’s trailer encapsulated an air of mystery and had many talking about the finesse work done in the editing. And now, the movie is here in theatres and let’s take the response from the audience on its very first day.

Audience responses:

  • It is a one-time watchable movie and the car chase scene stood out from the rest. Decent work from Joju. To simply say it was ' an old wine in a new bottle', but it worked to a certain level. Not all will appreciate it.

  • Joju did mass work in direction. It feels like it will be one of the best movies of Mollywood this year.

  • The movie lacks a gripping script. There are some flubs in the making. Something is out of place.

  • Making is fine but the story is not appreciable. The second half was better compared to the lagging first half.

  • We can easily predict the story but Junaiz and Sagar made the whole film interesting. Joju as an actor was not utilized in this movie. More than Junaiz it was Sagar, who turned the movie into an interesting watch.

The film stars Joju, Abhinaya, Sagar Surya, Junaiz V. P., Abhaya Hiranmayi, Seema, Chandini Sreedharan, Prashanth Alexander, Sujith Shankar and Rinosh George.
