Allu Arjun remanded for 14 days in stampede death case, actor to move HC

HYDERABAD: Actor Allu Arjun, arrested in the stampede that led to the death of a woman during the premiere of the film Pushpa 2, has been remanded. The magistrate has remanded him for fourteen days. It is reported that the actor will be housed in Chanchalguda jail. The Telangana High Court is presently considering his interim bail plea. He will be shifted to jail after a decision is made on this. The prosecution has requested that bail not be granted.

The Hyderabad Police Task Force team arrested the actor from his residence in Jubilee Hills. Sections 118(1) and 3(5) have been imposed against the actor. The video of the actor being arrested and taken away has also gone viral on social media.

The video of Allu Arjun getting into a vehicle with the police and the video of him standing with his wife in the parking lot of his residence are going viral. Allu's father and film producer Allu Aravind and his family were present in the house at the time of his arrest. The video also shows Allu, who is sipping coffee, kissing his wife, Sneha Reddy.

Allu can also be heard talking about his experience when the police came to arrest him at his residence. He told the police that he had to change his clothes. The police reached his bedroom, thinking that he would escape. Allu also said that he had difficulty with the police standing outside his bedroom. The video also shows police stopping Allu when he tried to get into the vehicle with him.
