
NEW DELHI: The NEET UG exam, which was canceled after the question paper leak, will be held on Sunday, June 21. A meeting was held at the residence of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan yesterday, attended by top officials of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and CBSE. Following this, the NTA date was announced today through X.
The NTA also requested students and parents to rely only on the official website for information related to the exam. The official websites are neet-ug@nta.ac.in and neet-ug@nta.ac.in. The NTA's post also states that the exam date was decided with the approval of the central government. The NTA advised that all speculations circulating on social media and news from unofficial sources should be ignored.
The NEET UG exam was earlier held on May 3, 2026. About 23 lakh students had written the exam. The CBI is investigating the question paper leak case. It is reported that the question paper was leaked from the place where it was printed. Five accused have been arrested so far. The CBI has registered a case under the Prevention of Examination Malpractices Act, 2024, charging criminal conspiracy, cheating, breach of trust and destruction of evidence.
