THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Youth Congress state president and MLA Rahul Mamkootathil has been severely criticized within the organization. The criticism has been raised in the WhatsApp group of the Youth Congress state committee. Majority of the people who have responded are women leaders.

'If he has done wrong, Rahul should stay away. How many times allegations were levelled against him? Allegations cannot always be dismissed. It is not right to remain silent even when the media has carried the news. The organization should respond to this. When such allegations are levelled, the manner is to stay away. Youth Congress is a movement that includes women. This is an issue that affects them too. Therefore, Rahul should respond,' said Youth Congress state general secretary Aavi Sneha in the group. However, some office bearers requested that such issues should not be discussed in the group.

‘The actress said no comments to the question of journalists asking if it was Rahul Mamkootathil. Apart from Rahul Mamkootathil, who dragged the name of the Youth Congress state president in connection with this allegation? You should file a case against that girl in this matter. The society should know the truth. The Youth Congress Committee has the responsibility to show the society that a womanizer is not the state president. You should give a proper reply to this,' said another female leader in a WhatsApp group voice message.
