THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An international theft team has been arrested in the capital city. Four Iranian nationals have been arrested for involving in thefts from Delhi to Kerala. They also carried out robberies in Myanmar and Nepal. The gang stole an amount of Rs 35,000 from a shop in Cherthala yesterday.
A team led by the cantonment circle inspector arrested them from the hotel in the capital city. Police said they had planned to loot some money exchange firms. The gang are also involved in a major theft in Pondicherry last month. They started stealing from India in January.
