One dead, four injured after slab of building under construction collapses in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: One person was killed and four others were injured after the slab of the building under construction collapsed at Thondayad in the district Sunday morning. The dead has been identified as Karthik (22), a native of Tamil Nadu. The injured are Thankaraj, Kannaswamy, Jeeva and Saleem.

The three injured are undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College and one at a private hospital. Reports said the condition of two is serious. The slab of the third floor of the building collapsed. The fire force and the police have reached the spot.
