THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Senior leader Mullappally Ramachandran's strong reply to KPCC president K Sudhakaran indicating that the fight within the Congress is getting worse. Mullappally reacted strongly against Sudhakaran in the presence of AICC general secretary Tariq Anwar. Tariq Anwar held talks with Mullappally as part of reconciling the senior leader. His public response was soon after this.

Mullappally said that he is not desperate to see the KPCC chief through slot and that he would be the last person to go from the Congress. K Sudhakaran had earlier said that Mullappally was given a slot to meet him during the reorganization talks but did not arrive at that time. Mullappally strongly denied the allegation that he would not pick up the phone if anybody calls. Mullappally said that no such complaint was heard before and even his accomplice Tariq Anwar don’t have that complaint, he said.
