KOCHI: Hibi Eden MP said that he has no connection with financial fraudster Monson Mavunkal. He asked not to drag his name in the case against Monson. Went there once after invited by an expatriate organization where Monson was one of its patrons. Hibi said that he went there while serving as MLA. I have not visited his museum. He said that he is responding now because his name is being dragged in the complaint.
Hibi said will face any probe. He said that he will end his public life if found guilty of financial fraud along with Monson. Complainants must file a clear complaint. Don’t drag my name unnecessarily. Hibi said that he will take legal action if raises unnecessary allegations against him. He said that he doesn’t know that K Sudhakaran went to Monson for treatment. He may have gone for treatment at many places. He said a complaint was lodged after seeing his picture. Hibi said that those paying money after seeing the picture should at least try to call people like him.
Hibi Eden is the second leader to deny allegations linked to Monson's financial case. Congress state chief K Sudhakaran had denied the allegations yesterday. He is acquainted with Monson as a doctor. Sudhakaran had clarified yesterday that he had not interfered in financial matters. Sudhakaran at a news conference in Kannur yesterday said that there are dark forces behind this and also suspect the chief minister and his office behind it.
