ALAPPUZHA: Three SDPI activists have been arrested in connection with the murder of RSS leader Renjith Sreenivasan. Of that, two have direct involvement in the crime. Anoop and Ashraf, natives of Alappuzha are those held.
The police have not divulged the details of the third person. Twelve people were directly involved in the murder. ADGP Vijay Sakhare had the other day said that all the accused in the Renjith murder case have been identified. He had stated that the accused had left Kerala and teams were entrusted to trace them immediately.
The miscreants hacked Renjith Sreenivasan, native of Alappuzha and state secretary of BJP OBC Morcha, to death in front of his mother and wife. Renjith's murder was within hours after SDPI state secretary K S Shan was hacked to death.
