THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Swami Gangeshananda said he will reveal the basic reasons for the attack against him. The sun shines slowly and so are truth. He told the media that he would reveal everything in the evening.
Gangeshananda said that he respects the rule of law. The crime branch had the other day found that the girl had chopped off his genitals. The incident happened in February 2017.
The 23-year-old girl, a law student, first said that she did the act when he tried to sexually abuse her and for her own safety. With this, a rape case was registered against the swami. Gangeshananda said that he himself had cut off the genitals.
The girl later retracted her statement. The girl said the swami had not tried to sexually abuse her and his aide Ayyappadas attacked him. When Gangeshananda approached the court seeking quashing of the case, the complainant testified in favour of swami.
At the end of the year-long investigation, the crime branch concluded that the girl attacked swami. Ayyappadas is the girl's friend. The girl made the plan along with him. Their plan was to avoid the swami for opposing their relationship.
