Tattoo assault: artist absconds, more revelations has come out

KOCHI: Police have started an investigation against Sajeesh PS, a well-known celebrity tattoo artist, on the wake of several revelations of sexual abuse against women. His Inkfected Tattoo studio at Edapally and Palarivattom has been closed down. Shortly after allegations of sexual harassment were levelled against a tattoo artist in Kochi by an 18-year old girl, many came forward with revelations of similar incidents, as a result the police intervened.

Police has voluntarily started a primary investigation, said City Police Commissioner C.H. Nagaraju. If anyone files a complaint, the FIR will be registered.

He then just turned me around and kissed me and then he removed his pants and had sex with me from behind without a condom. My phone started ringing then. And that was the first time I spoke and I said it's my mom and I have to go back home. He said ok, fucking wiped down there again and said the tattoo is incomplete so come back on Tuesday. You don't have to pay for it. I felt so disgusted,' the post read.

She told the information to two friends. They informed her parents. Speaking to a family-friendl lawyer, she said the case was not easy because there was no eyewitness or evidence. The lawyer suggested that someone with similar experience should come forward. The girl said it was then revealed on social media.

A former employee has said the tattoo artist had harassed several people.He also said that a girl had beaten the artist when he tried to torture her.

Another woman Varantharappally Chakunkal Abhirami has been arrested in Thrissur in January 2021 for allegedly making friends with a young woman under the guise of being a tattoo artist and inciting her to commit suicide. After being friends, she offers them beer and drugs and shoot pictures on their mobile phones. Later, she threatens to show them to their family members. Police have found that more than 20 girls were mentally abused and were led to suicide.
