Shows lewd signs, calls her prostitute; Woman league activist complains against Muslim League leader

MALAPPURAM: A woman league activist complains against a Muslim League local leader. Her complaint said that he showed an obscene gesture at a party meeting and called her a prostitute. The complaint is against Muslim League Tirurangadi constituency general secretary Kavungal Kunhi Marakkar.

The complaint said she was publicly insulted at a meeting held at the League's Kundur committee office on December 1 last year. The woman lodged a complaint with the Tirurangadi police. However, Kunhi Marakkar termed the complaint as fake.
