KALPETTA: The information in the diary of Sindhu, senior clerk at the Mananthavady sub RT office, has come out. The diary mainly mentions about the corruption by officials. ‘Special training is required for the work at the motor vehicle department. If not ready for corruption, then don’t go for government jobs’, states the diary notes.
‘I was not able to understand others’ hypocrisy. One won’t be at peace unless you take bribes. I cried out to God to let me do my job rightly. I am afraid that I might lose my job’, Sindhu said in her diary notes.
The note said that she was the only one responsible for her death and that her family members were innocent. The police had found a diary and an eight-page note from Sindhu’s room.
Sindhu (42), daughter of Agasthi and late Alice of Edavaka Ellumandam, was found hanging at her brother’s house on Wednesday. Three days before her death, Sindhu had met with Wayanad RTO Mohandas and lodged a complaint against the office atmosphere.
