KASARAGOD: Film actor Suresh Gopi has bought a way home for endosulfan victim Sajith and his family. A private news channel had earlier aired the video of Sajith’s sister Shyni carrying him on her back, as they had no other way to reach their home. Following which, Suresh Gopi fulfilled the long-time dream of Sajith and his family.

“Thank you Suresh Gopi sir. I’m not calling him sir. He is my own brother. We are extremely grateful to him and his family. We have suffered a lot. Even during night or rains, I have to carry my brother. He has fallen down many times. We carry him to hospital with that soil. No one comes to help us. Now, we are happy that a vehicle can reach our home. We would love to meet Sureshettan, who has done such a great help, in person”, said Shyni. Meantime, Sajith’s name is not yet included in the official list of endosulfan-affected people in the state.
