KOTTAYAM: The Crime Branch will interrogate Shaun George tomorrow in connection with the case in which he allegedly created a fake WhatsApp group to help Dileep in the actress assault case. The crime branch has issued a notice to Shaun George asking him to appear at the Kottayam crime branch office tomorrow.

DGP B Sandhya, the survivor's lawyer, Baiju Kottarakkara, Alleppy Ashraf and some media persons were in the WhatsApp group created under the name of Dileepine Poottanam (Dileep should be locked up). However, the witnesses have testified that no such groups were formed. According to the crime branch, the group was faked to sabotage the case by slandering those who are with survivor and making it appear that there was a conspiracy against Dileep. The crime branch had found that Shaun had sent a screenshot of the fake WhatsApp group to Dileep's brother Anoop.

Following this, the crime branch conducted a raid at Shaun's house in connection with the case. However, Shaun George explained that the phone that the crime branch was looking for had gone missing in 2019.
