Fire breaks out at two-wheeler showroom in Kozhikode; accident while charging vehicles, 10 electric scooters burnt down

KOZHIKODE: A massive fire has broken out at a two-wheeler showroom at Nadakkavu in Kozhikode. According to sources, about 10 electric scooters were burnt down. The exact cause of the accident is not clear. The fire broke out after the battery of a scooter exploded while charging.

10 scooters were gutted in the fire. The scooters were kept in the showroom's godown for service. Upon receiving the information, the fire force reached the spot and extinguished the fire. A detailed inspection will be conducted to see if the cause of the battery explosion is a short circuit.
